A Time to Laugh!


  • Who: All adults and teens from FBC and your guests 
  • What: Cooperative “Theme Dinner”!
  • When: Saturday, March 20, 6:00pm
  • Where: First Baptist Church, Multi-Purpose Room
  • Why?  “A merry heart is good medicine!” Proverbs 17:22

How does a theme dinner work?

Each table of 7-9 people will be contacted by their table hosts, and together you’ll decide on what the theme of your table will be (a few ideas below). This will determine what you bring for your cooperative meal and how you dress to carry out your theme. Each table will be asked to come up with a brief contribution to the program following the dinner (you can choose one representative or the entire table can take part in the fun.)

 

Some possible themes: 

  • International (a specific country or region of the world)
  • A decade (wouldn’t you like to relive the 60’s?)
  • A reality show
  • “The Office!”
  • A children’s birthday party or a family camping trip
  • A wedding party
  • The cast from a movie or TV series
  • A musical group
  • A month of the year
  • “Old Chicago”
